ooh, make them watch Titus, it will change their world. I thought it was brilliant, not even ever having read the play.

Oh, I *love* Harry Potter. I want to read it again already, and I quite agree about that whole Cho arrangement as a reaction to the Umbridge predicament. But no, I should not leave vague comments about the book in here, lest some unsuspecting visitor read it and get upset... (PS, MMM does rock the world with it's programming [actually, no, it shows to much adult contempo crap], but yes, we do get some good shows [i.e. CLONE HIGH!!!])

TKAA was on Much More Music, the decidedly Canadian version of VH1. But next time I see that it's on, I will definitely try to tape it for you.

You know, it's funny becaues I am also a non-driver at twenty, despite the fact that I have been a licensed driver for the last eight months or so. It's just one of those things. At least we get lower insurance rates.

Well, I'm glad I didn't spoil it for you, because apparently a girl asked me to leave in her guestbook who died, and when I did some one saw and her best friend or summat left me an incredibly nasty guestbook message about how rude and tactless I am. And I didn't even know her! *sigh* But, unfortunately, Alan Cumming isn't in Harry Potter--just Alan Rickman, who as we all know is our delicious Snape :D I did see him in Emma, and I was a bit horrified--he had to play the nastiest greasiest character in the whole entire book/movie, and I kept picturing him as being at least a cute Robert Martin or *something*. But no, it had to be Mr. Elton...

A *very* good writer is Mr. King. I recommend Dreamcatcher and It and The Stand, my favorite three, but be warned that they clock in at 600-1100 pages each.

Crazy, I was just going to buy the Hipsters Handbook and now you mention it. My own overuse of the term "PoMo" (cause I'm so goddamn hip) necessitates this.
